Hey, everyone. In this video, we’re going to talk about why we do network marketing.
Why We Do Network Marketing

So in this video, we’re going to be talking about why we do network marketing, not why we did it. So the reasons why we did it in the very beginning. Well, probably a lot like you, right? But why are we still doing it 12 years later? And I’m going to tell you there’s three main reasons why we are still doing network marketing. Number one, there’s no boss. I don’t know about you, but at some point in my life, I didn’t want people telling me what to do, when I could take vacations, how long my lunch hour should be. I needed freedom.
Network Marketing is a Business
So network marketing is not a job. It’s a business. And the beauty of that is you have the freedoms to make decisions. It gives you time flexibility. That was a huge reasons why we did it and why we still do it. The beauty in network marketing is you are able to schedule your work around your life, not the other way around. So many people have to schedule their life around work. And that is not the case with network marketing. We have complete time flexibility and many people call it a laptop lifestyle. Literally, if you have a laptop, a cellphone or WiFi or a cell signal, you can do this business. That’s really, really all you need these days is the ability to communicate because the beauty in network marketing is so much of all the other things is already done for you.
Network Marketing Helps You Compress Time
Secondly, it helps you compress time. Now this might be one of the biggest reasons why we do network marketing. When we were introduced to this profession, I was 37 years old and we had just lost basically all of our investment money in the real estate crash of 2008, 2009. And what are you going to do at 37? It’s really hard at that age to start all over again. And we did, we had to start all over again and you may be going through a similar situation now, whether it was what happened then or what even happened last year with the entire world feeling the pressure of a pandemic. And so maybe that is you. And if it is, you might need to compress time. And what I mean by that is at some point in your life, you’re going to need positive cash flow.
Now you might say, I need it now immediately. And while you’re working, many people are able to work and that is what creates the cash flow. But at some point in your life, you’re either going to be mentally or physically not willing or able to do the work. Most people call this retirement. I’m not ever going to retire and maybe you aren’t either, but I am and was ready to have positive cash flow coming in, meaning more money coming in than going out. And that is one reason why we do network marketing. By doing network marketing correctly, you are able to build a global network of people that are either using a service or products and in doing, you are earning commissions for that. And those commissions, when you do it right, can allow you cash flow, positive cash flow, meaning there’s more money coming into your house than is going out of your house.
My wife and I, in two years, we’re able to compress time of what took 17 years in traditional business. Let me explain. For 17 plus years, we worked all the hours, took all the risk with traditional business. And while we had an income, we didn’t have very much positive cash flow, meaning if I stopped working, money was still going to be coming in. In just two years with network marketing, we had exceeded 17 years of work. Two years in network marketing was producing more cash flow than 17 years in traditional business. And that’s why we still do network marketing today, not two years later, but almost 12 years later.
Earn Your Market Value
And thirdly, the reason why we do network marketing touched on it a little bit, and that is the uncapped commissions, the ability to earn your market value. Jim Rohn says you will get paid what you are worth or the value you are bringing to the market. The market doesn’t care who your parents are. The market doesn’t care what state you live in. The market doesn’t care what school you went to. The market cares about value you are bringing to them. And when you bring value, you earn money. Now, I was involved in real estate. I was also involved in the automotive industry and some other things, and we made good money, but nothing ever close to what we have earned and are earning inside of network marketing.
Bring Value to the World
So one of the reasons I do network marketing is I obviously bring more value to the world inside of network marketing than I did in real estate or the automotive business. You see, the ability to scale inside of network marketing is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. I tried to scale in real estate. We bought multiple houses, multiple. We tried to scale in the automotive business. We had multiple corporations and employees, but none of that even comes close to what we’ve been able to create with a network, a global network inside of network marketing. There is no cap to human resources. If you’re a business owner, you know probably the hardest thing in growing your business is finding more people to do what you do, finding good people to work for you. I know, I was there. If you had an unlimited amount of good people to work with you or worked as hard as you did, your business would scale, but they’re just not there. You haven’t found them. I didn’t find them. And if it’s not a lack of good people, it’s a lack of money. At some point, money runs out of people wanting to give it to you or your ability to borrow it and your business slows because of that.
Bring Value to the World
Not so at network marketing. It scales at an unbelievable level because really, the only thing you have to do is find people who are looking for a product or service once they enjoy that product or service, showing them how to find other people that want that product or service and the numbers start to repeat themselves or duplicate themselves. And it’s a scale that has blown my mind, and that is why we do network marketing. We love the profession and we see the future of network marketing only growing, only getting bigger, because think about it. Who wouldn’t want to live a flexible time schedule where there’s no boss? Who doesn’t want to compress times where they can get to the things that they want to do faster? And who doesn’t want uncapped income?
