You must embrace change in the workplace to further your network marketing business, and you must remove the word “can’t” from your vocabulary.
Change is inevitable, and embracing change is essential for growth. If you don’t embrace change, you’ll be left behind. The only way to stay ahead of the competition is to constantly innovate and adapt.
Growing a business is a mindset, and you need to learn how to think differently about your business than you did before. It takes courage to make these changes and you’re not going to find success if you still use the word “can’t”. But once you fix your mindset and get started, you’ll find yourself growing faster than you thought possible.

Embracing Change in the Workplace
In this video, we’re going to talk about why it’s important to master the two Cs, can’t and change.
Hey guys, thanks for joining us. Appreciate you being a part of our community here on YouTube. And there are two things that we probably work our life around, two words, and that is can’t and change. And so we wanted to share a little bit of our mindset behind this. And so let’s start with the word can’t.
The Word Can’t
That’s a no-no at our house.
It’s a no-no. In fact, I’m going to get a sign at some point, leading from our garage into our house, but you guys know that the word can’t is not going to allow you to achieve your best. I don’t think the Wright brothers used the word can’t. I don’t think they said, we can’t fly. Other people said it. I don’t think Steve Jobs said, “We can’t put a computer in someone’s pocket or purse.” And so you shouldn’t either. And so it’s really a mindset. It’s really just a matter of deciding that you can. The only thing that’s lacking is do you want to do it, like …
Willingness.
You Have to Want to Do it
Willingness. Do I want to do something? So if that’s the one thing. The next thing is just knowledge. Are you willing to learn the things necessary so you can, and stop saying can’t.
Exactly.
But really seriously, just be aware in your daily life how many times you use the word can’t or people around you and that needs to change. We don’t allow it.
Change Your Mindset
It’s like you’re programming your brain, honestly. When you speak that out loud, it’s like you’re telling yourself that you really can’t. And so that’s why we try really hard to implement in our house, just don’t even use the word, because don’t trick your brain into thinking that you can’t do something because we’re all capable of anything we want to do if we’re willing to commit to it, if we’re willing to just try.
Right. I could probably swim across the ocean. I just don’t want to.
Not willing.
Not willing.
Change is Hard but Necessary
Right? So a lot of people just make the mistake of not having the right mindset and it leads to things that are not very fun. And that leads us to the next thing, and that’s change. And we know change is scary.
That’s a scary word.
It’s emotional. For most people, it comes with a lot of baggage, and fear. And so we’ve got a little story of some things that have changed in our life and it plays into our business world as well. So I want Lynette to share this because it’s something close to her heart. She takes charge of this area in the family, so share the story.
We recognized that there was some need for change in our family. Some things needed to change. That came with some fear, but the reality is this. My children were in a situation where we made a decision that we wanted to pull them out of the school system. We made a decision to have them do online schooling at home. We had tried a couple of different things and quite honestly, we just weren’t happy with the results.
It wasn’t overnight. They were in public school through most elementary. Our son was in the middle school. Some things happened in middle school that we were like, you know what? We need to make a change. So what are our options? We started looking. And so this year we went to a Montessori school. We knew we needed to make a change, so we made that change. And at the Montessori school, I’m sure there’s great Montessoris is all over, but this one was just not good for our kids. So we make another change.
So whether we were ready or not, whether we were fearful or not, which I was, but we recognized that the need was there. And so we went ahead and made that change because it’s really about willingness. When you recognize that something needs to change, excuse me. Then you just have to commit to making that change happen. And that’s where we’re at.
Yeah. And we understand that change is tough and because there’s that emotional baggage like with the schooling. Yeah, there’s been days where the emotions weigh on Lynette, and that spills over to me. And that puts a little bit of pressure on our relationship. And that’s part of what is necessary for the greater good. When you make change, yeah, it’s going to be difficult. It’s going to be hard.
This change is not making me cry. I just got something caught in my throat. I’m not crying over the change. Actually, the change is really good because here’s the thing. We’re taking control of a situation. A lot of times people want something different in their life and they’re not willing to just take control. They allow it to control them. And a lot of good comes from your willingness to commit and to take charge of what you want to happen.
Yeah. And so we hope that this message kind of can bridge over into your business life. We know that a lot of you are on this channel or a watch our content for business purposes and the same mindset that led us to pull our kids out of certain schooling to where we are now, is the same process we use to create successful businesses. Recognizing a need, assessing what we needed to do for the greater good, and then be willing to do whatever we need to do to get where we want to go. That’s really what this is.
So I know a lot of you guys tune into our channels for techniques and training for network marketing. And maybe a lot of you are not even involved in network marketing, but what we’re talking about works, no matter what business you’re in. Now, network marketing specifically, a lot of people shy away from it because of the emotional roller coaster you have to ride when you first start in network marketing. It’s not easy. It’s simple, but it’s not easy.
And it comes with a lot of rough, rough bumps in the road. And it’s really just what you’re internalizing. Network marketing is not hard because it’s not physical labor, but the change is necessary for some. That’s why we did it. So here’s how you know if it’s time for change in business. If Monday’s not a good day for you, like if you don’t wake up on Monday morning, excited about what you’re going to do that day, then you might need to change and you need to ask yourself, am I willing? Because you’re able, or you’re all able, are you willing to do what’s necessary for the greater good and be willing to go through that rough stuff?
Well, and the biggest payoffs and things typically come from things that take a lot of effort. Happy families, happy marriages, successful businesses, none of those things happen just on their own. They tap in with a lot of effort, a lot of sacrifice, a lot of different things are put in to that success. And it’s no different when you need change.
People complicate things all the time. And that’s what this message is really about. Remove the word can’t from your vocabulary and your mental approach to things. That’s step one. And then be willing to change, because the one thing that’s for sure is things are always going to be changing. Don’t get set in your ways and just think this is it. So just those things applied in your life, whether it’s health-related, relationship-related, or business-related, are sure to help you if you can master those two Cs. So we’ll continue to put some more content out that might improve your business life. And we’re going to keep sharing what’s real. I don’t know, we may not even edit out the coffin.
See you guys.
